The talented artists set to perform at the Super Bowl LVI half-time show promised one heck of a show — and boy did they deliver, and then some!
Fans have been incredibly psyched for the show these past few months, but what we all witnessed this weekend far exceed expectations and raised the bar really high.
Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and a surprise appearance from 50 Cent (and Anderson Paak on drums!) brought the house down for one epic performance!
Here are some of the show’s biggest moments:
- 50 Cent’s unexpected appearance — and a very unexpected entrance. The rapper entered the scene hanging upside down as he began his huge hit, In Da Club
- Mary J. Blige slaying her part of the show and looking absolutely fabulous
- Kendrick Lamar paying tribute to Dr. Dre alongside an army of identical backup dancers
- The subtle Tupac tributes – Dr. Dre and Snoop performing California Love, and Dr. Dre playing the famous intro to “I Ain’t Mad At Cha” on the piano in a very poignant moment
- Eminem making a stand by taking a knee after his chill-inducing performance of Lose Yourself
- Dr. Dre, Snoop Dog, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, and Eminem all coming together to close out the show with a spectacular performance of Still D.R.E.
