Members of Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas’ teams faced off on the first part of The Voice’s live finale Monday (May 24) to win America’s votes. The competition was tight as the Top Five – Kenzie Wheeler (Team Kelly); Jordan Matthew Young (Team Blake); Cam Anthony (Team Blake); Rachel Mac (Team Nick); and Victor Solomon (Team Legend) – took to the stage with show-stopping performances.

Tuesday’s live finale (May 25) saw a new winner has been crowned – and some familiar faces returning to The Voice stage as the show celebrated it’s tenth anniversary.

The show starts with Blake reuniting with his best frenemy Adam Levine in a funny pre-taped skit which probably pretty much sums up how much the country singer missed the Maroon 5 frontman on The Voice.

Guest coach Gwen Stefani also made a return to The Voice stage. Joined by Saweetie, the ladies kicked off the evening’s performances with latest single, “Slow Clap.”

Other performers for the evening were part-time coach Kelsea Ballerini who sang “Half of My Hometown,” One Republic who sang their song “Run,” Lauren Daigle with “Hold Onto Me,” Mega Mentor Snoop Dogg with his tune “Sittin on Blades,” Ben Plat with his single “Imagine,” and Justin Bieber with tracks from Justice.

As host Carson Daly put it, “It wouldn’t be a 10-year anniversary without bringing back one of our coaches.” Adam, along with his band Maroon 5, performed their track “Beautiful Mistakes” featuring Megan Thee Stallion.

The coaches also teamed up with their contestants for some amazing duets – Rachel joined coach Nick for a rendition of The Foo Fighters’ “Best of You”; Victor performed Donny Hathaway’s “Someday We’ll All Be Free” with coach John; Kenzie and Kelly collaborated on Keith Whitley’s “When You Say Nothing at All”; and Blake, who had two members in the Top 5, teamed up with Jordan for George Strait’s “All My Exes Live in Texas,” followed by Cam Anthony with Fine Young Cannibals’ “She Drives Me Crazy.”

When it was time to announce the winners, Carson revealed the order of the finalists – Victor (Team Legend) came in fifth, Rachel (Team Nick) placed fourth, followed by Jordan (Team Blake) in third and Kenzie (Team Kelly) in second.

The Voice season 20’s big winner is Cam Anthony, who later reflected on his journey on the show, sharing, “To be able to know that I can be myself onstage and I can be received in this way has been such an amazing and validating experience. I’m grateful.” He’s also set his sights on “even bigger stages” and hopes to one day perform at the GRAMMYs.

The win also marks Blake’s eighth The Voice victory, extending his record as the coach with the most number of wins on the show.

Congrats, Cam and Blake!

Later this year, Ariana Grande will make her debut as a coach when The Voice returns with season 21.
