The Spider-Man films are known for successful franchises, exciting storylines, fantastic casts — and lead stars with incredible chemistry who seem to end up falling for each other!

Tom Holland and Zendaya are the latest Spider-Man co-stars who found love with each other in real life. The super adorable couple has been busy making the rounds – and making us all melt! – as they promote their new movie, Sider-Man: No Way Home. They’ve also finally made their relationship public, which means they’re more openly affectionate and cute with each other, and we get to adore them more.

These two, while certainly very cute together, are not the first Spider-Man pair who have made audiences squee with their reel-and-real romance. Tobey Maguire and Kristen Dunst dated while filming in 2001, and Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were also together from 2011 to 2015. And in a recent interview, it was revealed that Tom and Zendaya were actually warned not to date when the stars were first cast in the first installment of their Spidey franchise, Spider-Man: Homecoming!

No Way Home producer Amy Pascal revealed while speaking with The New York Times:

“I took Tom and Zendaya aside, separately, when we first cast them and gave them a lecture. Don’t go there – just don’t. Try not to. I gave the same advice to Andrew and Emma. It can just complicate things, you know?

And they all ignored me.”

Nothing stands in the way of true love!

Amy is not the only Spidey connection who is known to have given the couple advice. Last month, Tom and Zendaya’’s co-star J.B. Smoove also spoke about the pair, and shared some sage guidance for the lovebirds. He stated of the couple:

“I love those two!”

And had this to say in the way of advice:

“Have time for love but have time for laughter. Laughter. Smiles. Stress-free lifestyle, you know.

Find out about each other and find some way to keep watering that seed and keep growing and growing.”

Earlier this month at the No Way Home premiere, Tom made everyone go “Awww” when he adorably stopped mid-interview to watch Zendaya’s arrival on the red carpet.
