Tyga (real name: Michael Ray Stevenson) turned himself in to the police after ex Camaryn Swanson’s accused him of hitting her.

TMZ reports that the former couple got into an altercation in the wee hours of Monday (October 11) morning, and ended with Camaryn going on Instagram Story with bruises on her face, claiming Tyga hit her.

Per the outlet, Camaryn reportedly showed up at the rapper’s home at 3AM although he told her not to. She also reportedly began “acting belligerent” and was screaming at the top of her lungs. Tyga let her in and the two continued fighting.

Hours later, Camaryn went on IG Story displaying a bruised eye in a video captioned, “I’m embarrassed and ashamed that it had to get to this but I have to stand up for myself.” She then alleged that her ex “emotionally, mentally and physically abused” her, adding that she wasn’t “hiding it anymore.”

She also refuted TMZ’s report, claiming that she “didn’t show up ‘screaming or uninvited.'”

“When I tried to leave he physically assaulted and refused to let me leave for hours,” she said.

Police arrived at Tyga’s home on Monday morning, where they took a report of Cameron’s injuries – the rapper reportedly refused to talk to them at the time. On Tuesday (October 12) morning however, he voluntarily went to the LAPD’s Hollywood station where he was arrested on felony domestic violence charges.

According to the LAPD, “Michael Ray Stevenson a.k.a. Tyga, 31, turned himself in this morning at around 9 a.m. at the Hollywood station for felony domestic violence.”

Per TMZ, the rapper paid a bail of $50,000 and was photographed leaving the station by Tuesday afternoon.

Tyga and Cameron began dating earlier this year and made their relationship Instagram official by February. It’s still unclear when the two split, but sources say it was before Monday’s incident.
