Having a hard time getting the family together for a Christmas Card photoshoot? You’re not alone. The struggle is real – even for Victoria Beckham.
Posh is mom to Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, whom she shares with hubby David Beckham. And, apparently, even in the Beckham household, when trying to get four kids and three dogs to stand still in front of the Christmas tree for a Christmas card photo, chaos ensues.
The mom-of-four shared a hilarious behind-the-scenes video of holiday madness on social media – bloopers included – which she captioned: “The making of….never work with kids or animals!! 😂😂 Love you @brooklynbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven.”
First off, Brooklyn wore shorts – which prompted her to ask, “Are you sure you don’t want to put trousers on?”, which totally got a “no” from Brooklyn.
Then, cut to Cruz, who showed off the Borat-themed sweater he was wearing for the shoot.
“Excellent, that sums up your personality,” Victoria jokingly told him.
The dogs wouldn’t sit still, and, at one point, Posh even had to yell at the pooches, “Dog, sit!”
“It’s a Christmas card, guys. This is meant to be a nice thing to do,” she added, sounding borderline exasperated.
Then, amid all the chaos, Harper went, “This is a very sad Christmas.”
Posh was finally able to get a few snaps of her brood of four in front of the tree – it appears the dogs got booted from the final photo – but as soon as Victoria started singing, “Fa la la la la,” Brooklyn walked out of the frame.
The Beckhams’ famous pals, including Reese Witherspoon and Emma Bunton, definitely related to all the holiday shenanigans. Reese commented, “This is MY LIFE!!!”, while Emma wrote, “Laughed out loud!!!”
But despite the mayhem, Posh didn’t lose her sense of humor – the final Christmas picture she posted was animated with snow flurries around and soundtracked by Mariah Carey’s cover of “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” The photo also included cartoon stickers of devil horns on Brooklyn and Cruz, while Romeo sported reindeer antlers. Harper also had a cartoon Santa hat on.
