And the plot thickens.

Following Ruby Rose’s bombshell revelations about why she left her CW series Batwoman after just one season of playing the titular superhero, more and more people have been coming out of the woodwork to counter her claims.

In a series of Instagram stories, Ruby had dropped many allegations of negligence and misconduct and toxic behavior on the set of the series. She called out many persons involved in the appalling behavior and

conditions she cited, from the show’s producers and creator to certain co-stars and more.

Among those she named was Dougray Scott, who played her father on Batwoman. She alleged:

“[Dougray] hurt a female stunt double, he yelled like a little b*tch at women and was a nightmare. He left when he wanted and arrived when he wanted. He abused women and in turn as the lead of a show I sent an email out asking for a no yelling policy, they declined.”

Over the weekend, she added more:

“Dougray. I have too many witness coming forward with worse than just your anger issues… but ur seeing me for 10 million cos @gberlanti shared his lawyer with you… please… come first so I can use the money from that case to take on g Berlanti.”

Greg Berlanti is the executive producer of Batwoman.

Now, Warner Bros. has released a statement condemning Ruby’s claims against Dougray:

“We condemn the comments made by Ruby Rose about Dougray Scott. Warner Bros. has found Mr. Scott to be a consummate professional, and never received any allegation against him of bullying, or of abusive behavior on his part. Mr. Scott was greatly respected and admired by his colleagues, and was a leader on the set.

Warner Bros. television did not pick up Ruby Rose’s option for an additional season because of multiple complaints about workplace behavior that were extensively reviewed by the studio.”

Another former co-star Ruby called out was Camrus Johnson, who has starred on the show with her from the onset. She called him an “egomaniac kid who worked one day a week” and accused him of leaking rumors about her lateness to the press.

Camrus fired back at Ruby, saying:

“Batfam ya know I couldn’t go the whole day without saying something! I love y’all, don’t think I haven’t seen all the love today.

But ye fam, she was fired. And it is VERY hard to be fired when you’re the lead. Imagine what u have to do for that 2 happen.”

A crew member named Alexander J. Baxter, who said he worked as a PA during season one, has also spoken out against Ruby:

“The production company was professional, dialed in, and in every way fantastic. The crew was lovely, hard-working, and dedicated to countless night shoots, it sounded to be an amazing experience in the making. Then came Ruby Rose

She stormed off set, she yelled at people, and whenever she interacted with any of us production assistants, we were disregarded as the trash we picked up. She was a dictator to work for, and having been nothing but a production assistant eager to get into the industry, she made me consider quitting.

She was a horrible star and made so many of us feel like we were helping make a show for a dictator. When I read her article claiming that the production was at fault, it infuriated me because having been there, I don’t wanna stand by and let her badmouth a company that she tried to screw over. No matter how bad your day, you have no right to be cruel.

And season 1 was her reign of cruelty.”
