Gigi Hadid has gotten herself in some trouble with the law.

The 28-year-old model and her friend, Lea McCarthy, were arrested in the Cayman Islands. The arrest is said to have happened when Gigi was going through customs at the airport.

Reports say that officials found “ganja and utensils used for the consumption of ganja” in Gigi’s luggage.

The two women were then arrested on “suspicion [of] Importation of Ganjan and Importation of Utensils used for the consumption of ganja.” Gigi and Leah were taken to a Prisoner Detention Center and subsequently released on bail. The arrest happened on July 10 (Monday).

Gigi and Leah were charged during a court appearance two days later. Both plead guilty to the charges, and were fined $1000.

Gigi’s rep clarified the situation, telling outlets:

“Gigi was traveling with marijuana purchased legally in NYC with a Medical license. It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017. Her record remains clear and she enjoyed the rest of her time on the island.”

As for Gigi, she seems to have responded to the news of her arrest, taking to Instagram to post snaps from her vacation captioned simply with:

“All’s well that ends well.”
