7th Heaven child star Lorenzo Brino has died. He was only 21.

Lorenzo was killed Monday (March 9), after losing control of his car, a Toyota Camry, and struck a utility pole in San Bernardino County, California at around 3 A.M. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.

The late actor has been onscreen since he was in diapers – he’s one of the quadruplets, alongside his siblings Nikolas, Zachary, and Myrinda, who shared the role of 7th Heaven’s twin babies, Sam and David Camden from 1999 to 2001. He went on to star as Sam in the following seasons until the series ended in 2007. According to his IMDB page, he did not pursue an acting career beyond the show as 7th Heaven was his only acting credit.

Even before authorities released his name to the public, his sister, Mimi Brino took to Instagram to pay tribute to Lorenzo.

“To my amazing and crazy brother. You might be gone but it’s true when people say “gone but never forgotten”. Saying that you were a blessing is an understatement. You brought light to so many lives and you did so much with the too short of a life that you had. I had the privilege of growing up side by side with you for an absolutely wild 21 years. Believe me when I say that you drove me so insane at times, but you were also a part of some of my most cherished memories. I am so so happy to know that I was beyond loved by you and that I forever have a guardian angel by my side.

Rest In Peace Lorenzo, I love you now and I’ll love you forever. ❤️,” she captioned a photo of the two of them.

One of his friends Stephen Dulay, also shared a touching video tribute on YouTube, writing, “We were blessed to have Lorenzo Brino’s Beautiful soul in our lives. The amount of people he touched with his character and charm was unbelievable. He was a loyal friend and an amazing brother. He would always get my back no matter what. Rest In Peace Brother.”

His aunt, Janet Brino, also shared a tribute to her nephew, telling TMZ, “To my dear sweet nephew, your loss left a hole in my heart. God needed another Angel and he took you. Please watch over your mom and dad.  You sister Mimi, brothers, Antonio, Zachary and Nicholas … You got a big job up there.”

Rest in peace, Lorenzo. Praying for the Brino family in this difficult time.
