It’s been a week-long celebration of primetime TV’s best and brightest, with five nights of Creative Emmy Awards culminating with the primetime telecast of the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 20).

Nicole Byer emceed the Creative Emmys, which streamed Monday through Thursday. This year’s Primetime Emmys is its first-ever virtual awards show, which was held Saturday (September 19) and aired the next day.

Although the show was held mostly virtually, Jimmy Kimmel hosted from at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to a near-empty audience. Noting that while it might “seem frivolous and unnecessary” to have an awards shows amid an ongoing pandemic, “right now, we need fun.” The show also invited several frontliners to introduce the categories – and a donation would be made to the charity organization No Kid Hungry for every Emmy win.

The night also brought historic wins and impressive sweeps – Zendaya made history for being the youngest person to ever win an Emmy for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role on Euphoria. Schitt’s Creek swept the comedy categories in its final season. Last Week Tonight With John Oliver also won its fifth consecutive Emmy for variety talk series.

Check out the complete list of winners below. Congratulations to all the winners!
