Looks like Billie Eilish’s baggy clothes era is a thing of the past – coz she’s out here rocking PJs and SKIMS in her new music video.
The GRAMMY-winning artist just dropped a new single from her upcoming sophomore album Happier Than Ever. The latest release, a track called “Lost Cause,” also comes with a music video, where she and her girl squad go full-on slumber party mode as she sings about a lousy ex.
The video, which Billie directed herself, shows her and her girlfriends having a fun sleepover – eating junk food, goofing off, playing Twister, having silly string fights and such. She and some gal pals even got their twerk on. Oh, and they were also wearing a lot of SKIMS – y’know, Kim Kardashian’s shapewear line.
Meanwhile, Billie was singing lyrics like, “I used to wish you were mine/ but that was way before I realized / someone like you would always be so easy to find” and “Thought you had your s–t together / But damn, I was wrong / You ain’t nothing but a lost cause / And this ain’t nothing like it once was / I know you think you’re such an outlaw / But you got no job / You ain’t nothing but a lost causе.”
They were def going for the fun vibes and nailed it – it’s pretty much what every girl needs to build up her confidence after a bad breakup.
“We had the time of our lives being hot & shooting this heeheeeeeehee🤗🤗🤗🤗 ENJOY,” Billie shared on Instagram.
Aside from gearing up for her sophomore album release – it’s set to drop on July 30 – Billie’s also getting ready to go on tour. She only recently announced her upcoming arena tour, “Happier Than Ever, The World Tour,” and the North American, European, and U.K. dates have all sold out.
