It was bound to happen – and it finally did! Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were snapped reuniting backstage at the 26th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
These two Hollywood heavy-hitters have generated major awards buzz as awards season kicked off (Jen for The Morning Show and Brad for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood), but fans were totally buzzing about the possibility of the two of them reuniting – being that they’ve been at a some of the same awards shows at the same time.
As a refresher, Brad and Jen were married from 2000-2005. They both moved on after their split – Brad married Angelina Jolie and Jen married Justin Theroux. Both marriages have since ended though – and the two of them are single again at the same time.
Fans have been over the moon at how friendly they are – Brad attended Jen’s 50th birthday bash, and also at her holiday party in December.
Earlier this month, Jen was spotted sending her ex hubby some supportive vibes as Brad accepted his Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor In A Motion Picture (she was totally clapping as he went onstage and was seen laughing at Brad’s hilarious speech). Then, they were also spotted at the same Golden Globes afterparty.
Brad actually talked about the possibility of the two of them bumping into each other.
“I’ll run into Jen, she’s a good friend,” he told Entertainment Tonight at the Golden Globes. “The second most important reunion of her year? I understand. That was a play on Friends.”
The 2020 SAG Awards went down on Sunday (January 19) and Brad took home the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role. Later that evening, Jen also won Outstanding Female in a Drama Series.
Brad was already backstage when Jen won, but he totally watched her speech on a monitor backstage and even let out a “wow” at her win. And they totally reunited when they spotted each other backstage – yes, there are pics! Plus, at one point, Brad appeared to grab Jen’s hand to stop her from leaving.

While Brad and Jen are on really good terms as friends, not really sure what that means for them in the romance department. Fans have been shipping them all over again, but sources previously said that Jen is dating again; also Brad joked about adding his SAG Award to his Tinder Profile in his acceptance speech.
Jen appears to have a good sense of humor at all the attention on their situationship is getting though.
“It’s hysterical,” she told ET. “But what else are they going to talk about?”
