Cardi B is celebrating a huge milestone.
The 29-year-old “WAP” rapper has purchased property in New York City, and took to social media to share the big news.
On Tuesday (November 2), Cardi made the announcement that she is now an NYC homeowner. Along with a photo of herself standing in the grand foyer of her new home, she wrote:
“These days I don’t just live one place, I’m everywhere due to my work. One thing for sure I needed a home in my home city of NY!”
The wife of Offset and mother of two went on to open up about how this has always been a dream of hers, and how hard she worked to achieve it:
“I’m soo proud of myself. I work so hard for my children to be comfortable everywhere they are regardless of work. Me and my husband have always dreamed of having a crib in NY, and we have decided to add to our portfolio of homes, along with Atlanta and LA.
Now having a home in NY, I can have get togethers with my family all the time!!”
Cardi’s family lives in Washington Heights, New York, where she grew up.
She concluded her message by talking about her dreams and everything else she aims to accomplish:
“I have accomplished so many things yet I still feel far from all the goals I want to accomplish. This is one dream I can cross off… Let me know if ya’ll want a mini tour!”
A few weeks ago, Offset bought Cardi an investment property in the Dominican Republic as a birthday present. The $1.5M villa features six bedrooms and six bathrooms across 7000 feet. It has two pool and a separate studio.
In 2019, Cardi and Offset bought an enormous mansion for just under $5.8M in Atlanta. Cardi also owns a home in Los Angeles.
