Charles Melton has landed himself some sweet new digs in Silver Lake, California.

Dirt.com reports that the Riverdale actor bought a three-bedroom, three-bathroom home that’s over a hundred years old. However, the $3 Million Craftsman-style bungalow is far from looking ancient with its well-maintained structure and modern twists in the design.

With 3,602 square feet of living space, the main house showcases an “upside-down floorplan” where the master suite is located on the lower floor while guest bedrooms and public/entertaining living spaces take up the upper level. The interiors, comprised of mostly white walls, wood-beamed ceilings, and hardwood floors, are lined with plenty of large windows and sliding glass doors, allow plenty of natural light in. It has also been recently updated with modern furnishings including skylights and stainless appliances in the kitchen.

The primary suite on the lower level houses a second living room, and comes with a walk-in closet and an ensuite marble-tiled bathroom with a bath and separate shower area.

Sliding glass doors in the master bedroom open to a concrete patio leading to a saltwater pool and spa. There’s also an al fresco entertaining area that includes a wet bar with a built-in BBQ grill. There’s also a backyard corner where one can spend lazy afternoons on a hammock or chatting with friends around a fire pit. More outdoor seating can be found in the open deck on the upper level overlooking the pool.

The 7,499 square foot property also comes with another sweet structure – a detached studio-style guesthouse with its own driveway and carport.

Charles’ new home definitely has a lot of character, with striking green exteriors.
