Cole Sprouse practically growing up on TV had its perks – he got to work with his childhood crush! That’s something not everyone can say they’ve been able to do. But, apparently, working with someone he was majorly crushing on at the time made for some pretty awkward moments while filming on set.

When Cole went on The Drew Barrymore Show, he opened up about his huge crush on Jennifer Aniston, whom he got to work with on multiple occasions when he played Ross’ son on Friends – this was like way back 2000-2002.

“Yeah, I did [have a crush on her]. It actually made it quite difficult to work in front of her, I must admit,” Cole told host Drew Barrymore. “I was a child, I would stammer a lot and I would forget my lines.”

“I feel like I’d maintain my composure a bit more effectively now, but it was quite difficult when I was a kid,” he continued. “And I was teased a little bit by the crew because they saw it and I would just forget and be looking at her, but then the whole world had a crush on Jennifer Aniston so.”

And to anyone hoping Cole and his brother Dylan will ever reprise their iconic characters as Zach and Cody in a Suite Life reboot, apparently they get asked that a lot. But Cole says it’s a “no” for him.

“Reboots are a tricky thing, you know?” he explained. “The original shows, when they become successful, sit in this little golden plate of nostalgia. And when you modernize it and go back to it, it has the potential to really disenfranchise the original fanbase. So, it’s a very, very touchy thing.”

“I am asked all the time if Dylan and I are going to do a Suite Life reboot and I go, ‘No, absolutely not,'” Cole continued.
