Emma Watson is getting candid about her Harry Potter on-set crush!

In a sneak peek for the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts special, the 31-year-old actress recalled the exact moment she “fell in love” with her co-star.

Emma, who played Hermione Granger in the beloved film series, revealed that she had a massive crush on none other than Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy. She adorably spoke about how he would make her heart skip a beat when the two of them were together on set.

She cutely shared the story of when she “fell” for Tom, saying:

“I walked into the room where we were having tutoring. The assignment that had been given was to draw what you thought God looked like, and Tom had drawn a girl with a backward cap on a skateboard. And I just don’t know how to say it — I just fell in love with him.”

Emma stated that she would look for his number on the call sheet every day of filming:

“I used to come in every day and look for his number on the call sheet, it was number seven, and if his name was on the call sheet, it was an extra exciting day.

He was three years above me and so for him he was like, ‘You’re like my little sister.’”

The two of them would find themselves at the center of persistent dating rumors throughout the years, but Emma and Tom never actually dated.

Did Tom know about her crush though? The 34-year-old actor revealed this in the sneak peek:

“I think I was in the hair and make-up chair and someone said something along the lines of, ‘Yeah, she had a crush on you.’”

And he sweetly talked about how he felt protective over her:

“I became very protective over her. Yeah, I’ve always had a soft spot for her and that continues to this day.

There’s always been something that’s like, I don’t know, a kinship.”

Awwww.

The Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts special will debut on HBO Max Saturday, January 1.
