Scarlett Johansson is opening up about what it means to her to be named as the highest grossing actress of all time.
The 38-year-old actress sat down to talk about her new movie Asteroid City, and she spoke about what it means to her to be named highest grossing actress.
She was asked how she responds to the title, to which she said:
“I’m pretty sure Im going to get some text message from Sam [L] Jackson, that’ll be like ‘No, no, no, no.’ Wait a minute.”
She continued:
“I think he’s the number one, oh I guess I’m the maybe [number one] actress.”
It was then noted in the interview that Scarlett has her Asteroid City co-star Tom Hanks beat in terms of being highest-grossing stars. She was asked it she brings that fact up when talking to Tom, and she jokingly stated:
“I’m gonna start doing that.”
