Is a True Jackson, VP reboot in the works?

The Nickelodeon show follows a 15-year-old girl who run her own fashion label. It ran for three seasons and ended in 2011.

Keke Palmer, who starred as the titular character in the series, posted a TikTok on Tuesday (April 21) dancing along to the show’s theme song – a song she sang and co-wrote.

While the video definitely made for nostalgia feels, it was her caption that caught fans’ attentions.

“Congrats! Another reboot!” Keke wrote alongside the video. “Y’all made this happen”

She also wrote a little something on the video itself: “When they cancelled True Jackson VP prematurely just to reboot it in 2021.”

While the announcement got many fans freaking out with excitement, some aren’t entirely sure if Keke was kidding or not.

Do you think Keke was being serious?

Another star that’s gotten fans reminiscing is Colbie Smulders, who channeled her How I Met Your Mother character, Robin Scherbatsky, once again.

Reuniting with her Stumptown co-star, Jake Johnson for Vulture Instagram livestream, the two stars got to talking about their respective experiences on How I Met Your Mother and New Girl.

HIMYM’s Robin worked as a newscaster but has a secret past as a Canadian pop-star named Robin Sparkles who had a hit song called “Let’s Go to the Mall” – and, yes, there was a music video, too!

Well, looks like fans did not forget that obscure little detail – because she got requests for an encore performance.

“Everybody’s asking me to sing ‘Let’s Go to the Mall,'” Colbie told Jake. “Everybody wants me to do that!”

“Do you know it? I’m putting you on the spot,” Jake asked. “Do you remember it?”

Colbie said she “definitely know[s] the beginning of it,” but refused to sing it at first.

“I’m not going to sing this song, it’s so upbeat. It is so crazy,” she said.

After much “peer pressuring” though, she caved and sang to song’s first line:

“Come on Jessica, come on Tori / Let’s go to the mall, you won’t be sorry.”

“That was awesome,” Jake told her.

“That was the beginning of it. You’re f–king welcome,” Colbie replied.
