The Mean Girls actress has revealed that she and her boyfriend Bader Shammas are now engaged. She took to social media to share the happy news, uploading a series of adorable selfies together along with this simple, sweet caption:
“My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love 💍”
Lindsay and Bader have reportedly been a couple for around two years. They first sparked romance speculations back in February 2020 when Lindsay posted about having a “boyfriend” on Instagram.
In a post that she deleted soon after, Lindsay shared a photo of herself with a group of friends attending a music festival in Dubai. She captioned it:
“Lovely night with sister and my boyfriend Bader <3. Such a magical night.”
Standing next to Lindsay in the photo was Bader.
A while ago, it was revealed that the 35-year-old actress is making a return to acting via a Netflix Christmas romantic comedy. She is starring in an upcoming holiday-themed rom-com with Glee alum Chord Overstreet. The plot summary for the film reads:
“A newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress (Lohan) gets into a skiing accident, suffers from total amnesia and finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner (Overstreet) and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.”
