Aaron Carter has sadly passed away. He was only 34 years old.
The singer and actor’s body was found dead at his home in Lancaster, California on Saturday morning (November 5).
A 911 call was made at around 11am and authorities quickly responded, rushing to his residence. Law enforcement sources told outlets that they were told a “male had drowned in the tub.” They were also informed there is “no information or evidence of foul play.” Homicide detectives appeared on the scene because of standard operating procedure.
Aaron was the younger brother of the Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter. He famously struggled with substance abuse issues for many years. During an appearance on The Doctors years ago, he opened up about his addictions and the pills he was taking.
Only a couple months ago, he opened up in an interview about going to rehab to try and regain custody of his one year old son, Prince.
Our thoughts go out to Aaron’s loved ones during this very difficult time.
