Amanda Bynes is one again going through some tough times.
Reports have it that the 37-year-old actress has been detained by police. She was brought to the station so that she could be evaluated for her mental health.
Outlets say that this happened after cops were called over a “woman who was in distress.”
The incident is said to have happened on Saturday morning (June 17) in Los Angeles. It is not clear at this time if Amanda was in her house or out on the street when the call was made.
Amanda reportedly remained calm with the officers. She was taken in the back of a cruiser to the station, and there she was checked out by a professional medical unit. At this time, it is unknown if she was then released or transported to a hospital.
Just last April, Amanda was released from a mental health facility following a three-week stay.
