Amanda Bynes has reportedly been held on psychiatric hold after she was detained by authorities over the weekend.
On Saturday (June 17), the 37-year-old actress was brought in by the police following a call about a “woman who was in distress.”
Days after, it was then reported that Amanda was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold. This means that she can be held for upwards of 72 hours to receive mental health treatment before she is released.
The update, released on Monday (June 19), came alongside a new reports about what happened.
Outlets said that Amanda seems to be the one who reached out initially to the police last weekend to receive help. They also claim that Amanda has been “isolated and not doing so well.”
Just in March of this year, Amanda was held on psychiatric hold after she reportedly roamed the streets of LA naked. She received treatment in a mental health facility for three weeks and was released in April.
