Carly Rae Jepsen is officially a married woman!
The 39-year-old pop darling, who gave the world the timeless hit “Call Me Maybe,” tied the knot with music producer Cole M.G.N. in an intimate, artful ceremony earlier this month — and the setting couldn’t have been more Carly Rae.
According to Vogue, the pair exchanged vows on October 4 at the iconic Chelsea Hotel in New York City, inside the Bard Room — a space steeped in the kind of bohemian history that feels tailor-made for two artists. About 100 guests attended the wedding, including Rufus Wainwright, who serenaded the newlyweds with a live performance.
For Jepsen, the venue was far more than just a beautiful backdrop — it was deeply personal. “We knew we wanted a location that meant something to us, and the Chelsea Hotel had become a home away from home every time we were in New York,” she told Vogue. “As artists, its iconic history and lore made it that much more appealing. For planning, we had weekly dates to talk out all the details of the wedding. This way it was only ever fun and not too much at once.”
The bride wore a stunning dress by Toni Maticevski for the ceremony and later changed into a reception gown by Danielle Frankel — two chic, modern looks that perfectly matched her ethereal aesthetic.
The couple’s love story started in the studio — literally. Carly’s management paired her with Cole while she was working on The Loveliest Time, her 2023 album. He co-wrote and produced “So Right,” one of the record’s standout tracks. From there, what began as a creative partnership blossomed into something far more personal.
Cole — whose full name is Cole Marsden Greif-Neill — isn’t new to the music scene. The producer and multi-instrumentalist has worked with everyone from Ariel Pink to Blood Orange and even Snoop Dogg. He’s also a six-time Grammy winner for his work with Beck, a testament to his remarkable range and artistry.
Together, Carly and Cole represent the kind of love story that feels serendipitous — a meeting of two creatives who not only complement each other’s art but also each other’s lives. Their wedding at the Chelsea Hotel wasn’t just a celebration of marriage; it was a nod to the creative spirit that first brought them together.
For Jepsen, whose music has always sparkled with emotion and whimsy, this next chapter feels like a natural evolution — from pop’s most endearing romantic to someone who’s found her own forever muse.
