Chris Brown has beef with the 2022 American Music Awards.
The 33-year-old musician is claiming that the awards show nixed his planned tribute performance to the late Michael Jackson. The AMAs were held on Sunday (November 20).
Chris took to social media to share a rehearsal video and accuse the AMAs of canceling his performance. He uploaded a video of himself and dancers performing to Michael’s classic hits. He captioned it:
“U SERIOUS?”
In the comments section, he elaborated further by explaining:
“WOULDVE been the ama performance but they cancelled me for reasons unknown.”
The organizers for the 2022 AMAs do not seem to have responded to his allegations as of yet.
Chris won Favorite Male R&B Artist at the ceremony. After his name was announced as winner, the crowd responded by booing him.
