Jessica Simpson just gave some very juicy answers in a tell-all!
The 42-year-old star spoke about her past in a new interview with Bustle, and among the topics covered were her hit MTV reality show Newlyweds with ex-husband Nick Lachey as well as that Hollywood hookup she wrote about.
When she was asked if she is still the same person from Newlyweds:
“I’m still that person. Honestly, if Eric [her husband] told me I had to do all the laundry, I would still throw it over the banister and throw a fit… What gave me control was people seeing me vulnerable on Newlyweds. My power is my vulnerability. That’s me.”
The conversation shifted to the public’s initial impression of her ex as a “long-suffering, stand-up husband” and to this, she gave a seemingly shady comment about Nick:
“It’s amazing what publicity can do.”
Her essay about the mystery A-lister that she hooked up with also came up and if Mark Wahlberg was the man in question. She simply said this about the clues in the essay:
“There are a lot of Catholics out there.”
