Yesterday marked Kit Harington’s 37th birthday—yep, the Game of Thrones heartthrob had his special day! But here’s the twist: his birthday coincides with Christmas Day, which hasn’t been a party for him, to say the least.
You’d think a birthday’s all about celebration and joy, right? Well, not for Kit. He’s lamented in the past about the challenges of having his birthday on Christmas Day.
“It’s a bit of a downer, to be honest,” Kit once shared with W magazine. His gripe? The whole family swarms in for Christmas, and his birthday tends to get lost in the holiday shuffle. “I end up feeling a bit overlooked and grumpy. It’s a yearly tradition,” he added.
Gifts? They’re another sore spot. “Each year, they seem to get less exciting,” Kit quipped. Post-Christmas birthday gifts, as he describes them, just don’t measure up. “I guess I’m just craving more attention,” he joked.
Let’s hope this year was a total game-changer for Kit! Fingers crossed he had a fantastic birthday, getting all the attention and cheer he deserves. After all, even the King in the North deserves a spotlight on his special day!
