Drake Bell is speaking out after he was declared to be missing and then was found later in the same day.
The Drake & Josh alum was declared missing on Thursday (April 13). He was thought to be “endangered” by the Daytona Beach Police Department.
Just a few hours later, they released an update to let everyone know that the former child star had already been found.
Now, Drake has issued a statement hinting at what had taken place to cause his absence. He also joked about the whole situation.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote:
“You leave your phone in the car and don’t answer for the night and this? 😂”
Drake did not offer any other insight as to what may have caused the panic. Earlier that day, reports came out that his final public sighting before he was said to be missing was a few days earlier.
