Ethan Slater is officially putting an end to his marriage.
The 31-year-old Tony Awad-nominated actor has filed for divorce from his wife Lilly Jay. The two were married for four years, and are parents to a baby boy.
His filing comes following the news of his romance with Ariana Grande. Ethan and Ariana are currently filming the Wicked movies together.
Ethan filed for divorce in New York on Wednesday (July 26). As of now, no specific reason for the divorce has been released.
Ethan and Lilly exchanged vows in 2018. They welcomed their son in August 2022.
It was announced earlier this month that Ariana and husband Dalton Gomez have separated. They were married for two years. Days after the announcement of their split, the 30-year-old singer’s relationship with Ethan was made public.
Insiders close to Lilly have shared that she is “devastated her family’s been torn apart” and that she feels like Ethan has “completely turned his back on his family.”
