Halsey has officially returned to the stage — and to the world of Badlands.
The 31-year-old singer, songwriter, and actor kicked off their Back to Badlands Tour on Tuesday night (October 14), performing the first of three sold-out shows at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Forever Cemetery. And yes, the setting was as hauntingly perfect as you’d expect.
The tour celebrates the 10th anniversary of Halsey’s debut album Badlands, which originally dropped in August 2015 and quickly cemented them as one of the defining voices of alternative pop. A decade later, Halsey is revisiting that world — but with the kind of artistic growth and lived-in confidence that makes it feel brand new.
The opening show featured a stacked 27-song setlist, blending beloved Badlands staples with fan favorites from across Halsey’s discography. From Gasoline and Colors to Without Me and Nightmare, the performance was a reminder of just how far their sound — and storytelling — have evolved over the years.
For longtime fans, the moment was deeply nostalgic. Badlands wasn’t just an album — it was an era, a whole aesthetic that defined a generation of Tumblr teens and alternative pop fans. Now, seeing it come to life again, in one of LA’s most iconic venues, felt like a full-circle moment.
But the Back to Badlands Tour isn’t stopping there. Halsey will be taking the show worldwide, with upcoming stops in New York City, Toronto, London, Paris, Sydney, and more. And while every show sold out almost instantly, there’s still hope for latecomers — tickets are available through verified resale platforms like Stubhub and Vividseats.
