Harry Styles just turned “run, don’t walk” into his personal mantra.
The 31-year-old pop superstar quietly laced up for the Berlin Marathon on Sunday (Sept. 21), blending in with more than 55,000 runners on one of the world’s fastest courses. According to AP News via German outlet dpa, organizers confirmed Harry was indeed on the roster—under the incognito name “Sted Sarandos,” headband and sunglasses included.
His finish? A jaw-dropping 2 hours, 59 minutes, 13 seconds—an average of about 6 minutes 50 seconds per mile (roughly 4:15 per kilometer). That’s elite territory for a marathoner. For comparison, winner Sabastian Sawe of Kenya clocked an astonishing 2:02:16.
Berlin locals even spotted Harry training around the city in the days leading up to race day, so the hush-hush prep clearly paid off. Paralympic gold medalist Richard Whitehead posted a grinning photo with the singer afterward, captioning it: “2.58 in Berlin with my mate!! Anyone know him!! 😂 #berlinmarathon.”
The timing of Harry’s European adventure is peak Harry—just days earlier, he was seen strolling through Tuscany with Zoë Kravitz. Whether on stage or pounding pavement, Styles proves he’s got both the stamina and the element of surprise on lock.
