A Power Rangers reunion is coming — but sadly, one original star will not be participating.
Amy Jo Johnson will not e returning for Netflix’s Power Rangers reunion. The 52-year-old actress portrayed the original Pink Ranger, Kimberly Hart, in the first and second seasons of The Might Morphin’ Power Rangers. She starred alongside Austin St. John, Walter Emmanuel Jones, David Yost, and the late Jason David Frank and Thuy Trang.
Walter and David will be back, but unfortunately Amy won’t be. And she has revealed the reason she won’t be appearing in the reunion.
When asked by fans why she was not going to be part of the reunion, Amy shared:
“For the record, I never said no…
I just didn’t say yes to what was offered.”
Amy did go on to say:
“But other fun stuff is in store! Looking forward to watching my friends kick ass!”
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always is slated to hit Netflix this fall.
