Just a short while before his Super Bowl performance, Jason Derulo has been injured.
The 33-year-old singer, who is set to perform at the NFL Super Bowl TikTok Tailgate party, apparently tore a ligament and has a small break in his foot.
Outlets report that his injury stemmed from playing a basketball game with friends around three weeks ago. They said:
“He was going up for a rebound and wound up landing on someone’s foot.”
They added that in doing so, Jason suffered a torn ligament as well as a small break.
Recently, Jason was spotted walking with a cane as his foot healed. Reportedly, he also had “stem cells injected” to help in his recovery.
Even though he is injured, an insider is saying that Jason will still be performing at the tailgate party next weekend “come hell or high water.”
