Kim Cattrall is returning to Sex & The City!
This week, it was announced that the actress will finally be making a long-awaited appearance on season 2 of the SatC revival titled And Just Like That.
Kim memorably played the role of fan favorite Samantha Jones throughout the show’s original run on HBO. She also returned for both of the films that were made.
Her absence has been very much felt in the reboot, and fans have been hoping for a long time that she would appear.
Now it seems that the Sex & The City universe will be whole again — at least for one night.
Kim will be reprising her iconic role in only one scene. She did not film with any of the other ladies, including Sarah Jessica Parker, nor did she film with show runner Michael Patrick King. Famed SatC costume designer Patricia Field dressed her for her scene.
Her one scene will show her having moved to London and on the phone with SJP’s Carrie Bradshaw.
Sources say Kim shot her dialogue on March 22 in New York City without speaking to the series’ other stars.
