Lea Michele dropped a very exciting surprise for all Funny Girl fans!
On Wednesday (November 16), the 36-year-old actress and singer teased a surprise during curtain call. She stated:
“We have a little bit of a secret that we wanted to let you all in on.”
She went on to make the big announcement:
“We are all so, so, so proud to announce that we are going to be releasing our original cast Broadway album for Funny Girl.”
Lea said that more details about the album, including when it will be released, would be announced soon.
Just over 24 hours later, the album was released on streaming services!
The digital album is available to download on iTunes and stream wherever you get music. The physical CD of the Funny Girl Broadway cast album will be released on January 20. You can now pre-order on Amazon.
