Noah Schnapp just added another major accomplishment to his growing list of milestones.

The Stranger Things actor is officially a college graduate.

The 21-year-old star shared the news with fans on Instagram on Monday (May 18), posting photos from his graduation ceremony and celebrating the moment with his signature sense of humor.

“What, like it’s hard???” Noah captioned the post, referencing one of Legally Blonde’s most iconic lines.

Naturally, fans immediately loved it.

The photos showed Noah wearing his cap and gown while celebrating alongside the people closest to him, including his twin sister Chloe and parents Karine and Mitchell Schnapp.

The milestone marks the completion of his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

For most students, graduating college is already a huge achievement.

For Noah, it represents something else too: balancing higher education while simultaneously starring in one of the biggest television series of the modern streaming era.

Because while many audiences know him as Will Byers from Stranger Things, his life over the last several years has involved more than filming monsters and supernatural mysteries.

He has also been studying.

Previously, Noah discussed the challenges of navigating academics while continuing to work professionally, revealing that his schedule occasionally required adjustments when Stranger Things production obligations called him back.

Juggling classes and a global television phenomenon isn’t exactly a standard college experience.

Yet Noah managed to make it work.

That achievement also places him in somewhat unique territory among the original Stranger Things cast, as he is among the few who completed a traditional college path while maintaining a major acting career.

Fans and fellow celebrities quickly jumped into the comments section to celebrate.

Among them was Victoria Justice, who liked the post and commented:

“Slay.”

The graduation news also arrives during an especially busy moment for Noah.

Just days earlier, he experienced another first: his Cannes Film Festival debut.

Last weekend, Noah attended the premiere of El Ser Querido (The Beloved) in Cannes, France, marking his first appearance on one of the film world’s most prestigious red carpets.

He later reflected on the experience online.

“Thank you @chaumetofficial for the most magical experience. Honored to represent such a timeless Parisian maison,” The Tutor actor wrote.

Between graduation, Cannes, and the upcoming final chapter of Stranger Things, Noah’s 2026 is shaping up to be a year packed with transitions.
