The holiday music catalog is about to get a major dose of contemporary pop energy. Multi-platinum superstar Olivia Rodrigo has officially announced her very first original holiday track, “take me home (4 christmas),” set to arrive on Thursday, November 5, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT via Geffen Records.

The 23-year-old “vampire” hitmaker co-wrote the festive track alongside her long-time creative partner and producer Daniel Nigro, as well as celebrated pop songwriter Amy Allen. To elevate the drop, the single will arrive alongside an official cinematic music video featuring a star-studded comedy lineup: Emmy Award-winning Sex and the City and And Just Like That… actress Cynthia Nixon and Saturday Night Live star Ben Marshall.

For physical media collectors, Rodrigo is pairing the digital release with a full physical rollout. Fans can currently pre-order limited-edition 7-inch vinyl pressings and nostalgic cassette tapes through her official web store, with an exclusive retail vinyl variant hitting Target shelves nationwide on Friday, November 6.

The festive release continues a busy season of creative momentum for Rodrigo. The announcement follows her recent collaborative hit “expectations (remix)” featuring Chappell Roan—accompanied by a surreal, game-show-themed music video starring Talking Heads frontman David Byrne—and coincides with ongoing dates on her global The Unraveled Tour supporting her No. 1 album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love.

With tour dates scheduled to carry through Los Angeles and New York City into 2027, “take me home (4 christmas)” offers fans a cozy, high-profile soundtrack moment to ring in the season.
