Olivia Rodrigo is calling out the Trump administration — loudly — after discovering her music was used in a Department of Homeland Security video encouraging undocumented immigrants to self-deport. And she’s making her stance unmistakably clear.

On Friday, Rodrigo blasted the White House and DHS for posting a video on Instagram that used her track “All-American Bitch” from Guts. The clip paired the song’s intense opening section with footage of ICE agents detaining undocumented immigrants, captioned: “If ICE finds you.” It then shifted to the softer, calmer portion of the song, paired with clips of people seemingly choosing to self-deport.

The caption driving the entire message read bluntly: “LEAVE NOW and self-deport using the CBP Home app. If you don’t, you will face the consequences.”

Rodrigo reacted swiftly — and sharply. In a comment that was later deleted, she wrote: “Don’t ever use my songs to promote your racist, hateful propaganda.” Fans immediately screenshotted and reposted the message across platforms, determined to preserve her words even after they disappeared.

Asked for comment, a DHS spokesperson responded to Rolling Stone: “America is grateful all the time for our federal law enforcement officers who keep us safe. We suggest Ms. Rodrigo thank them for their service, not belittle their sacrifice.”

Rodrigo has been outspoken on immigration justice long before this latest incident. When ICE conducted sweeping raids across Los Angeles earlier this year, she used her platform to highlight the human impact on the city she’s called home her entire life.

“I’ve lived in L.A. my whole life and I’m deeply upset about these violent deportations of my neighbors under the current administration,” she wrote at the time. “L.A. simply wouldn’t exist without immigrants. Treating hardworking community members with such little respect, empathy, and due process is awful.”

She added: “I stand with the beautiful, diverse community of Los Angeles and with immigrants all across America. I stand for our right to freedom of speech and freedom to protest.”
