The women of Parks & Rec are celebrating Galentine’s Day!
Rashida Jones reunited with her Parks & Rec co-stars Amy Poehler, Kathryn Hahn. And Aubrey Plaza to mark the holiday that their characters invented on the former NBC show.
Amy’s Leslie Knope introduced Galentine’s Day back in episode 16 of season 2. During the episode, Leslie celebrates Valentines with her female friends by hating a breakfast, giving hand-knit gifts, and reciting essays she wrote about each woman’s unique traits.
Galentine’s Day was mentioned in subsequent seasons of the hit series.
Every year since, Rashida, Amy, Kathryn and Aubrey have come together to take an annual selfie celebrating the adorable holiday on the 13th of February. And this year is no exception!
Rashida took to social media to share the photo of the ladies’ reunion this year. She captioned the latest snap:
