Ross Lynch has officially taken himself off the market—and he’s doing it entirely on his own terms. The 30-year-old performer stepped onto the red carpet on Thursday night for the New York premiere of his upcoming film Heartland at Metrograph, sporting a sleek gold band on his left ring finger.
When pressed on whether the jewelry signaled a major life milestone, The Driver Era frontman candidly confirmed the status of his union.
“Yes, yes I am,” he responded to People after being asked if he was married.
While the multi-hyphenate actor has never deliberately hidden his relationship status—occasionally surfacing on Instagram with the ring visible—he made it clear that keeping his private life out of the digital crosshairs is a conscious choice to protect his spouse.
“I’m not trying to shy away from that by any means, but I am trying to, you know, my wife’s not very fond of celebrity,” the actor said. “So I am trying to be sensitive towards that and respectful to her. But everything’s going well.”
Though Lynch has kept tight-lipped about the exact date of their wedding, keen-eyed fans on Reddit pieced together clues earlier this year, noting that Lynch reportedly revealed during a concert meet-and-greet that the pair had quietly tied the knot prior to Christmas 2025. The speculation reached a fever pitch back in June when Lynch returned to Instagram following a nearly year-long sabbatical. After posting photos wearing the band, he captioned the dump, “Been a minute, what did I miss?” Prompting one fan to comment, “more like what did WE miss?” alongside a ring emoji.
Lynch cheekily replied, “hahaha A LOT,” accompanied by a shushing face emoji.
Navigating fame since his Disney Channel tenure, Lynch noted at the premiere how stepping back from the public gaze has enriched his current artistic and personal era.
“I’ve been focusing a lot on my private life recently, which has been feeling really gratifying,” he told People. “I’m definitely excited about the future prospects and we’ll see how it unfolds.”
Lynch’s new drama Heartland, which co-stars Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain and Garrett Hedlund, arrives November 13th on Netflix.
