Allison Mack has been released from prison.
The 40-year-old Smallville actress was released from prison on Monday (July 3). This is according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons records.
Allison was accused of recruiting women into the cult known as NXIVM. The cult leader, Keith Reniere, is said to have blackmailed women into becoming his sex slaves. He also reportedly branded them with his initials.
She was arrested in April 2018 in the case. A year later, she pled guilty to a count of racketeering as well as a count of racketeering conspiracy. In 2021, she was sentenced to three years of imprisonment.
Keith was sentenced to 120 years in federal prison on many charges, among which is sex trafficking.
As of this time, no further information has been given regarding her release.
