Rihanna is absolutely slaying her pregnancy journey.
The 33-year-old singer, who is pregnant with her first child with A$AP Rocky, attended her first public event on Friday since she revealed that she was expecting. She celebrated her brand Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin in Goya Studios in Los Angeles, looking stunning while walking the carpet.
The first-time mom-to-be showed off her baby bump in a tree, sequined top with bathing pink pants — and she spoke to ET about her maternity style, saying:
“It’s a long nine to 10 months. You have to enjoy it.
I’m trying to enjoy it as much as I could. And fashion is one of my favorite things, so, you know, we’re defying what it even means to be pregnant and maternal.”
She went on to add with a laugh:
“It can get uncomfortable at times and so you can dress the part and pretend.”
Rihanna shared that she is enjoying every single moment of her pregnancy:
“It’s all an exciting journey so far. I’m just taking it as it comes every week. There’s always something new and I’m just taking it and I’m enjoying it.”
Also in attendance at the event was A$AP Rocky, who candidly spoke about their journey to parenthood, sharing:
“I’m just excited for what I don’t know yet. Everything is new to me. So, I’m excited!”
