Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost reportedly have some exciting news to share: they have a little one on the way!
It hasn’t escaped fans that ScarJo has been absent from in-person events leading up to the release of her upcoming standalone MCU film, Black Widow. And, according to Page Six, it’s because she’s pregnant.
“Scarlett is actually due soon, I know she and Colin are thrilled,” a source shared with the outlet.
Another source added the actress has been “keeping it very quiet,” noting that, “She has been keeping a very low profile.”
The couple owns a house in Montauk, and some neighbors have also noted her absence from the public eye.
According to a Hamptons source, “Scarlett usually spends a lot of the summer out in Amagansett and Montauk, and you’d often see her walking her dogs on the beach or getting coffee. But this summer it seems like she is deliberately trying to keep a low profile.”
Pregnancy rumors have been swirling around the actress since June – with her notable absences at Black Widow events in New York, Los Angeles and London, as well as the screening in the Hamptons on Friday (July 2).
While she has made appearances to promote her movie, fans noted that most have been over Zoom, and are shot from the shoulders up – like her guest spot on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on June 21.
“She hasn’t been doing many interviews or events to promote Black Widow which is surprising since it is a huge Marvel/Disney release and she is both the star and an executive producer,” an insider said.
This would be Scarlett and Colin’s first child together – she’s also mom to six-year-old daughter Rose, whom she shares with ex-husband Romain Dauriac.
The 36-year-old actress and her Saturday Night Live comedian husband are yet to officially announce the pregnancy.
