According to multiple reports, Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian are once again going their separate ways.
The two have only recently reunited as a couple, with Khloe opening up about why she took him back despite his cheating scandals.
“I know the growth and all the work he’s done, I know all the help he’s got and the constant efforts he makes every single day and how hard he fought to get back with me currently,” Khloe shared during Part 2 of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion special. “You could ask everyone, it really wasn’t an easy thing for him. I wouldn’t understand why someone would go through all that if they weren’t really serious.”
“I mean, I definitely trust him as a friend and all those things,” Khloe said. “What I need to find out, everything comes my way. I just need to trust and focus on today and go day by day. I can’t worry too much about everything else.”
Reports of their split follow more recent cheating allegations that have been swirling around the NBA player – back in April, a woman claimed to have had relations with Tristan after he and Khloe had gotten back together; and last week, there were reports that Tristan allegedly hooked up with a girl at a party in Bel-Air.
However, Tristan seemingly denied the allegations on Twitter, posting five cap emojis, which could stand for “cappin’“ or lying.
It’s still unclear when Tristan and Khloe called it quits this time around – according to TMZ, Khloe “called things off a few weeks ago”; but an E! News source says Khloe broke things off “very recently.”
So far, neither have commented on the reports, but another source told the outlet, “They had been working through the cheating rumors for the last couple of weeks, but Khloe told Tristan he lost all of her trust and the relationship could not be repaired. Khloe really tried, but ultimately, felt too betrayed by him. She’s done and says she will not go back.”
