Zoe Kravitz is getting ready to get her claws out.

ICYMI, we’ll be seeing Zoe on the big screen as Selina Kyle a.k.a. Catwoman. She’ll be starring alongside Robert Pattinson, who has been cast as the newest Caped Crusader, in Matt Reeves’ highly anticipated The Batman film.

Zoe was at Hulu’s Television Critics Association winter press tour on Friday (January 19) where she dropped some teasers about the script.

“The script is wonderful. It’s really grounded and deep and I can’t say more than that, because I’ll get fired,” she told the press with a laugh.

She also revealed about her inspiration for the role.

“I think the whole Batman world… has always been the most interesting to me. I think Catwoman is such an iconic character,” she continued. “I was never into a lot of comic books, but that was always really intriguing to me. And then, of course, Michelle Pfeiffer and her performance has always been super inspiring to me. It just felt iconic.”

They’re about to start filming the scenes – in the U.K. no less! – and she previously dished about donning the Catwoman suit to Ellen DeGeneres.

“We’ve had many [fittings,]” she said on Ellen (January 13). “It’s going really well. It’s very exciting.”

Apparently, Zoe has met her Catwoman inspo on person at the Golden Globes earlier this month.

“I was actually sitting at the Globes with David [E.] Kelley, who writes our show [Big Little Lies], and Michelle Pfeiffer, and I was bowing to the queen,” she says. “I’m nervous to be in her presence now.”

And, yes, she had to get some superhero workouts in for the role.

“I’ve been training a ton too, which has been great and hard,’” she says. “[It’s] very physical. I come home just limping every day!”

The Batman won’t be in theaters till 2021 – but fans can catch Zoe in Hulu’s upcoming remake of High Fidelity on Feb. 14.
