And the MTV VMAs nominees are…
MTV has revealed the nominees for the 2022 Video Music Awards, which will be held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Sunday (August 28) 8 pm ET/PT.
Leading the pack are Jack Harlow, Lil Was X, and Kendrick Lamar with seven nominations each. Closely behind are Harry Styles and Doja Cat with six nominations each. Billie Eilish, Due Lipa, The Weeknd, Drake, Ed Sheeran, and Taylor Swift are not far behind for five noms apiece.
Fans can make their voices heard by casting their vote in 22 gender-neutral categories, which include Video of the year, Artist of the Year, and two new categories: Best Longform Video and Best Metaverse Performance. You can vote for your favorites at vote.mtv.com. Voting closes on Friday, August 19.
