Short hair, don’t care!
On Thursday (October 22), Camila Cabello surprised fans with a brand-new look. For the first time ever, fans got to see the 23-year-old singer with shoulder length hair!
For years, Camila’s sported long tresses – going all the way down to the middle of her back. But when she went on Instagram to debut her much much shorter ‘do – just past her shoulders, with waves going up to her bangs – fans were totally loving the new look, courtesy of Los Angeles-based hairstylist Dimitri Giannetos.
“LOST MY SHORT HAIR VIRGINITY!!!! I’ve had long hair all my life it’s TIME TO FEEL THE AIR ON THESE SHOULDERS BABY,” she captioned a photo of her looking back over her shoulder, showing off her new hairstyle.
Boyfriend Shawn Mendes also had fans swooning when he adorably asked for a “photo cred” on the shot – which Camila totally granted.
The post has since gotten more than 3 million likes from fans and friends.
Be it short or long hair, Camila looks great – and no doubt she’ll inspire even more songs from her beau.
Earlier this week, Shawn dropped a sweet little detail about his songs – they’re all inspired by one person.
In the trailer for his upcoming documentary, which dropped Tuesday (October 20), Shawn revealed that “every song” he’s ever written was inspired by Camila.
“My song comes on the radio or something and I’m like, ‘Everything’s about you. They’re all, they have always been about you,'” Shawn shares at the end of the trailer. “She goes, ‘What do you mean?’ Like, ‘They’re all about you. Like every song I’ve ever wrote.'”
