Camila Cabello is giving fans a peek behind the curtain of her friendship with Taylor Swift.

Aside from her music, over the years, Taylor is also known for tight-knit group of famous friends, which include the likes of Camila, who opened for Taylor’s Reputation Tour in 2018, Selena Gomez, Blake Lively, and Gigi Hadid.

In a recent interview with Bustle, the ”Havana” singer got candid about what Taylor is like as a friend – as well as the few pointers she’s hoping to be able to emulate from her close pal.

“Taylor has always been so kind and supportive and also goes out of her way to give you artist advice,” Camila shared. “[She’s] really about making friendships and relationships the most important thing. She is so brave at watering those seeds of friendships and relationships.”

“She always answers my texts and she’s so busy,” she continued. “I don’t even answer texts because I’m just worse at it. It takes intention to be like, ‘Let me write all my friends back.’”

While we don’t see much of Taylor hanging out with her friends these days – there is still a pandemic going on, after all – it’s pretty apparent that the “Love Story” singer continues to have close bonds with those she holds near and dear.

Earlier this month, Ryan Reynolds, whose wife Blake is one of Taylor’s besties, called it an “honor” that the 31-year-old singer chose to immortalize their children’s names – James, Inez, and Betty – in her music.

“The names are the names of our kids, but you know, we trust her implicitly,” Ryan shared during an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show Thursday (August 5). “She’s very sensitive to any of that stuff. And obviously the song has nothing to do with our kids other than our kids’ names.”

And last year, Selena opened up about her close friendship with Taylor.

“There’s so much of my friendship with Taylor that people don’t know about because we don’t necessarily feel the need to post about everything we do,” she told WSJ magazine in January 2020. “She has showed up for me in ways that I would have never expected. Flown in because I was hurt and was going through something. Stuff that was going on with my family.”

“It’s been proven year after year and in every moment of my life that she is one of my best friends in the world,” she continued. “We don’t agree on everything, but we respect each other with everything.”

The “Lose You To Love Me” singer, who was gearing up to release her album Rare at the time, also opened up about how much Taylor’s reaction to listening to her new music meant to her.

“I remember Taylor said when I played her some of the new songs, ‘I feel like I’m seeing who you were before this [the Justin Bieber heartbreak],’” she recalled. “That makes me happy. I like feeling like that girl again.”
