Hollywood stars are taking to social media to show their support for Meghan Markle – even before her and Prince Harry’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

On Friday (March 5), Chrissy Teigen went on Twitter to speak out against the recent negative headlines about the Meghan in the news. U.K. outlet The Times published the report on Tuesday (March 2), claiming she “drove two personal assistants out of the household and was undermining the confidence of a third staff member.”

The Duchess has since responded to the allegations via a spokesperson, who issued a statetemt: “It’s no coincidence that distorted several-year-old accusations aimed at undermining the duchess are being briefed to the British media shortly before she and the duke are due to speak openly and honestly about their experience of recent years.”

Buckingham Palace has also issued a statement to address the bullying allegations. “We are clearly very concerned about allegations in The Times following claims made by former staff of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement on Wednesday (March 3). “Accordingly, our HR team will look into the circumstances outlined in the article.”

On Thursday (March 4), several celebrities went on social media to defend Meghan amid the negative press.

Jameela Jamil went on Twitter to call out the Royal Family. “IF THIS IS WHAT THE ROYAL FAMILY IS COMFORTABLE DOING TO A HEAVILY PREGNANT WOMAN PUBLICLY…. can we even IMAGINE what they put her through privately? They seem terrified. Her interview hasn’t even aired yet. What are they covering up? The stench of their desperation is rotten.”

Chance The Rapper expressed his opinion on the matter, tweeting, “Do y’all find yourselves getting mad as HELL every time they talk sideways about the Duchess Meghan?”

Gabrielle Union also shared her support for the duchess on Instagram.

“You already know what time it is. I hope we all continue to rally around women who dare to stand up for themselves and others. We see you, we support you, we got your back. 🖤” she captioned a photo of her and hubby Dwayne Wade with Meghan.

Her former Suits co-star, Patrick J. Adams, also took to the platform Friday (March 5) to defend Meghan’s character in a series of tweets.

“She [Meghan] has always been a powerful woman with a deep sense of morality and a fierce work ethic and has never been afraid to speak up, be heard and defend herself and those she holds dear,” he wrote. “Like the rest of the world, I have watched her navigate the last few years in astonishment.”

“Meghan Markle and I spent the better part of a decade working together on Suits. From day one she was an enthusiastic, kind, cooperative, giving, joyful and supportive member of our television family. She remained that person and colleague as fame, prestige and power accrued,” he continued.

Meghan and Prince Harry, who are already parents to one-year-old son Archie, are currently expecting their second child. The baby news, which the couple announced on Valentine’s Day, comes months after Meghan revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage in July last year.

Chrissy, who opened up about her own pregnancy loss in September, is sympathizing with Meghan amid the negative press surrounding her.

“this meghan markle s–t is hitting too close to home for me,” Chrissy tweeted. “these people won’t stop until she miscarries. F–king stop it.”

Oprah With Meghan And Harry: A CBS Primetime Special aired on Sunday (March 7), where Meghan revealed her struggles with mental health, the “concerns and conversations” members of the Royal Family had surrounding Archie’s skin color, and more. Following the tell-all interview – Meghan sat down with Oprah first; Harry joined them later on – even more celebs are voicing their support for the duchess.

Serena Williams shared a message of solidarity on Twitter.

“Meghan Markle, my selfless friend, lives her life – and leads by example – with empathy and compassion. She teaches me every day what it means to truly be noble. Her words illustrate the pain and cruelty she’s experienced,” she wrote, in part.

“Royalty is not a shield from the devastation and despair of racism,” Bernice King, the youngest child of civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr., tweeted Monday (March 8).

“This is so sad,” Andy Cohen tweeted. “And riveting. And I want to see every second of the rest of it.”

“It’s true what Meghan Markle told @Oprah, we don’t know what goes on in people’s lives behind closed doors,” Maria Shriver wrote . “That’s something we can all remember.”

“Not surprised at all by what I’m hearing, just a sad reminder,” Matt James shared.

But some critics also spoke out.

“This interview is an absolutely disgraceful betrayal of the Queen and the Royal Family. I expect all this vile destructive self-serving nonsense from Meghan Markle – but for Harry to let her take down his family and the Monarchy like this is shameful. #OprahMeghanHarry,” Pier Morgan wrote.

Meanwhile, other celebs made jokes directed at the monarchy.

“We got your back, honey…..we’ve got more Queens than they do 😀,” Leslie Jordan captioned a video on Instagram.
