Celebs are praising Demi Lovato’s triumphant return to the stage at the GRAMMYs on Sunday (January 26) night.

Marking her first time back onstage since her 2018 overdose and her return to the awards show after three years, the 27-year-old singer slayed onstage as she debuted her new song “Anyone” and got a standing ovation from the audience.

Wearing a custom Christian Siriano white ballgown with Gismondi1754 jewelry, Demi had tears running down her cheek as she belted out the emotional track, which TMZ reports, was recorded four days before her 2018 overdose.

Demi shared the monumental moment on Instagram, writing, “What an unbelievable night. My first time back on stage in almost 2 years. So emotional for me. Thank you all for the love, support and for sharing this moment with me. I love you all. 💗

Follwing the powerful and emotional performace, many of her fellow music artists have gone on social media to shower her with lots of love.

“Oh Demi Lovato, you just tore me down. I’m so glad you’re here to sing those words, to sing like that. You just gave the whole world a gift straight from the heart. Thank you,” P!nk tweeted.

“@ddlovato the way you opened your heart out there will touch so many. I 💖 u,” Leona Lewis wrote.

Sam Smith went on Instagram Story with a sweet message for her. “DEMI LOVATO. I am in tears. That is singing. That is heart and that is the truth.”

Selena Gomez shared a photo of Demi’s performance on IG Stories, writing, “I wish there were words to describe how beautiful, inspirational and DESERVED this moment was,” she wrote. “Demi I’m so happy for you. Thank you for your courage and bravery.”

Selena and Demi have been pals since their Barney and Friends days. They both went on to star in Disney Channel shows and later carved successful careers in the entertainment industry. And, though the two may no longer be following each other on Instagram, it certainly looks like that didn’t stop Sel from heaping praises for her old friend.

The “Lose You To Love Me” singer previously opened up about supporting Demi following her near-fatal overdose in July 2018. “All I’m saying is, I reached out personally. I didn’t do a public thing. I didn’t want to. I…I love her. I’ve known her since I was seven. So…it’s…that’s what I’ll say,” she told Elle Magazine at the time.
