French Montana closed out his summer with a sweet deal – he sold his Tuscany-inspired villa!

The rapper bought the 7,800 square-foot home from Selena Gomez back in 2017. At the time, he doled out $3.3 Million for the property, then the renovated postmodern villa to add some neo-Gothic drama to its interiors.

The home was originally listed on at $6.6 Million in early 2020. The GRAMMY-nominated artist later brought down the price to $6 Million, before giving an additional discount of nearly $400,000 in May of last year. According to American Luxury, French recently sealed the deal on $5 Million bid.

Located in Hidden Hills, the gated community famously known for being the home of members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Drake, as well as Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, the home offers a slice of the Mediterranean – from the long driveway leading to a circular courtyard with a fountain in the middle bringing the rotundas of Europe to mind to the resort-style grounds that include a romantic al fresco dining area with string lights overhead reminiscent of the streets of Italy.

The three-acre lot features two main structures – the main house and a studio-style guesthouse that comes with its own kitchen and bath. Guests are also greeted as they arrive by a topiary elephant right by the circular drive.

The main residence houses five bedrooms and six bathrooms, plus luxe amenities fit for a celebrity like a state-of-the-art recording studio, a gym, a stone-walled cave-like wine cellar, a cozy media lounge decked out in chic palm-patterned wallpaper and dark couches, and a full-sized bar.

The arched double-door entrance opens up to a foyer with a massive crystal chandelier cascading from the two-story high ceiling. The living room is bright and airy with its similarly high ceiling, as is the formal dining room, both of which also feature their own grand candelabra-style chandeliers.

The huge high-end kitchen is done in all-white, with marble-topped counters and island with a built-in breakfast bar. Right off the kitchen are the breakfast nook for more informal dining and the luxurious family room with its white marble fireplace, and folding glass wall lets in plenty of natural light and opens up to the outdoor dining courtyard.

The house has a built-in state-of-the-art security system – motion detectors, two dozen cameras, plus panic buttons in every room.

The grounds also boasts a stone-covered pool flanked by a sunbathing deck, lush gardens, and an open-air pavilion perfect for entertaining – it comes with an outdoor kitchen and a cozy sitting area with a fireplace.

Congrats on the sale, French!
