Hailey Bieber is showing some love for Selena Gomez.

The 29-year-old singer is on the cover of Elle’s September issue, which was released last week.

The magazine shared the cover on their official Instagram account, and, according to Entertainment Tonight, the 24-year-old model was among those who “liked” the post.

Fans will recall that Selena was previously in a relationship with Justin Bieber, a.k.a. Hailey’s hubby. The two parted ways in 2017 and Justin later rekindled his relationship with Hailey, going on to tie the knot in 2018. Selena has also been romantically linked with DJ Zedd and The Weeknd.

Over the years, Selena and Hailey have been pitted against each other. It came to a point where both ladies spoke out against the haters that “create these narratives that are just… toxic.”

Selena has also asked fans to stop the hate. “I will never stand for women tearing other women down. So please be kind to everyone,” she said in a past Instagram Live session.

Although they don’t follow each other on Instagram, this isn’t the first time Hailey has shown support for Selena. Hailey has notably liked a clip of Selena all glammed up before her 2019 AMAs performance that makeup artist Hung Vanngo shared, as well as some photos that Selena’s pals have posted of her in the past.

Selena is clarifying her comments about her days on Disney.

In case you missed it, earlier this month, Selena told reporters at the TCA Summer Tour, “I signed my life away to Disney at a very young age and I didn’t know what I was doing.”

Starring in the upcoming series Only Murders In The Building, the 29-year-old performer is poised to make her return to the small screen with her first scripted show since The Wizards Of Waverly Place.

In a recent interview on RadioTimes.com, she was asked if she was hesitant to return to television, she responded, “No, definitely not. I was looking for another show to do.”

“And by the way, I’m beyond proud of the work that I did with Disney as well,” she continued. “It kind of shaped who I am in a way.”

Her Only Murders In The Building co-star, Steve Martin, also chimed in with his recollection of Selena’s comment. According to him, apparently, this is one of those cases where just reading the words versus actually hearing the way they were delivered makes a huge difference.

“I was there when Selena said that and it was said in the most light-hearted, funny, jokey way,” he said. “And then I see it gets interpreted—sometimes they’ll say she was joking and sometimes they have it as an ominous headline—but it was completely just all in fun.”

Selena later also opened up some more about working on Wizards Of Waverly Place, saying, “I have to say, I’m very lucky. As a female in my position, I was taken care of and I’ve only had lovely experiences, so I’m grateful for that.”
